Tractors come and go in the life of a farm but not Ironhorse. Dai and his old Massey Fergusson have been fronting up for an age. When the Orchard was sold, the thought of it rusting away in a back paddock was too much for him to bear so she made the trip to her new home on the vineyard. The artwork is of Dai and Ironhorse getting it done during our first Chardonnay harvest (Artist Lisa Nicole).
Our Chardonnay (100%) is pressed straight to neutral oak puncheons, fermented with a vineyard pied de cuve and bottled with a light touch of SO2. The fruit was taken from our vineyard in its third year through organic conversion.
